it seems knappable but what's it called

These are not good exaple pieces I think they have froze and busted. I don't have any good knapping Lithics in my area just quartzite. Found these about an hour from home and curious to the type and if it's worth going back over there and looking for better pieces. Any ideas?

The lighting makes it hard to see details. The two flakes top right look workable from what I can see but those cobbles are probably tough as nails if they aren't full of stress cracks, the one all the way left looks like it may be? Try taking photos outside in indirect natural light with good focus.

Ok hopefully this is a better picture. I hit the cobble with a hammerstone and was pretty excited how good it looked inside. Tough as nails though. Sorry I forgot to mention I found this in east tn. That may be useful in identifying this stuff.
