my last box of rock showed up today some material i have wanted to try for awhile now .
it ranges in color from a light lilac color to a deep transparent purple with lots of black dendrites ,comes from Nevada

no those are dendrites moss is more a mass of fiber like material dendrites look like little trees or shrubs
