Today I made at least two cuts on these rocks (One cut for viewing and one cut for standing). The California Silver Lace is just a slab: I only have slabs of that rock. I didn't polish the rocks and they will look better if someone polishes them. I know that Kim has a collection of rock specimens and I hope I can add to his collection.

Ron are you offering these to me? I would be extatic to add them to my lithics collection. I'd be happy to pay shipping. K

Hey Kim, They are yours and I will ship them Monday. It's a gift and don't worry about the shipping.

The rocks all have cortex on the uncut parts of the rock.

I finished sorting rocks today and found two more for you Kim:

Utah, Green River Formation, Elimia Tenera
These fossils are from the Eocene in age (generally 51-46 million years ago)

Beautiful Ron .. I was doing a read about jade in Big Sur Cal . Have to look that up again but some man up there was making use of it in jewelry .
Agate is always a favorite .. There is so much beauty in all of those .
