  • What is the smallest arrowhead you have ever found?

This is the smallest one I have ever found. I have a beautiful obsidian that is very small but that was given to me as a gift. I'm looking for the smallest arrowhead you have ever pulled from the earth and maybe a general location too. This one is from Will County, Illinois about 20 years ago.

Neat little point and good topic. I found this one in jefferson county Missouri while back while walking back to car and pretty much giving up finding anything but this small glimmer of brick red caught my eye and i looked down and thought no way but sure enough a point. Tip's a little gone but all of the small arrowheads i find have tip damage. It is a Sequoyah i believe and made of cooked burlington.

Ron you must hunt with a magnifying glass. That's not small - it's dinky but awesome. ...Chuck

Hey Chuck, I purchased that with a large collection and I nearly missed seeing it even then.

Wow Ron... cool. I like those serrated points and the Mercury dime really makes that one. Nice pic...

Couple of personal finds from Western CT made of white quartz. The stemmed one is just about an inch the other one is under 7/8" I have others this small or smaller but I am too lazy to dig that frame out right now. I doubt there is anything less than 3/4" of an inch in my personal finds. Click image for larger version

These are ones I have purchased. The first lot was in a dealers table and there is very little information I can attribute to them. Except there is one broken Steiner and we know that one is pure Texas. Click image for larger version Name:	IMG_0956.JPG Views:	399 Size:	184.2 KB ID:	213936

This is one of three that I have found. Believe it is a Kanawha.

Gregs, I have several points that are duplicates of the one in the bottom pic above the nickel. Just a little bigger. I'm in Will County, Illinois. We're in each others back yards geographically speaking.
