    Found this piece earlier. Used to take videos, now just pics (I have killed 3 cell phones from hunting accidents in last 5 years). I was told material is Cattail chalcedony--first for me. Deposits of this material found in Virginia. Unsure of point identification. Round base Guilford? Piscataway? ?? Input welcome.

              Wow Carolina Hunter that is some beautiful material! Even the prettier lithics migrate to the coast I'm jealous. I'm thinking Guilford congratulations!

                        Judging by the photo, lacks the shallow corner notches of a Piscataway. I’m calling it a Guilford-Round Base. Middle archaic. Nice!
