    October 20th quick after work dig

    Got out for a hour or so after work today and 10 minutes into digging this guy shows up. As usual I’m not sure what it is but hopefully I get some spare time before bed tonight to try and put a name to it. Feel free to help me out if you know what it is. Come on Mattern spit it ou, I know you know what it is.

    You had me for a minute when you said a guy showed up, thought someone was gonna run you off, ( memories from the past I guess ), Lol....That’s a really nice addition Bird...When that site plays out ( if it ever does ) hafta post a family photo...

      Thanks CMD! I didn’t know that, I’ve never talked about it much, didn’t want folks to think I was nuts..but that didn’t matter cuss some think that anyway.

    Well Bird, I think it is a Vestel side notched. I found this picture in Fogelmans Pa Projectile point book. If not it belongs to the brewerton series. Nice find. Kim

          I gotta tell you, the tip on this thing is damn near needlepoint sharp. Definitely one of the best shaped tips I’ve found.

                Keep posting HBird, we like it! You are one lucky duck to be able to work at a site that has artifacts. We can live vicariously (and enviously) through your work place finds!
