Dunes - 8/2/2021

My permission ranch (sand dunes) got a good 1/2” of rain Sunday. And with the cool front that lingered, I was able to spend a solid 8 hours wandering about. It was very cloudy and even rained on me a bit, but it was ideal conditions considering this is usually the hottest time of the year in west Texas. I found all kinds of stuff including some nice scrapers and a few manos, but I mainly kept just the points. My faves are on the bottom row, a banded Teardrop made of Alibates Flint, and a maroon and white Baker (?) dart point made of Van Horn Flint. A good many brokes including the tiny dark gray one missing the tip, a Diablo arrow point, and a flake blade.
