OK Hal. Her she is. She was in box 3. First time in a long time light has been shed on her. Found many moons ago not far from were you found yours. She is a petite thing at 1 1/8 x 2 1/4. No idea what she would have done back in her day

O.K… time to bust out box Home and#2.. I would type her as a Celt, rather than a adze… it’s all in the bit end… a sweet find and rare for your area I bet…✌️

Love it! I'd call it a mini celt. I think Ron may have some opinions on it's possible use.

This was my first thought too. I have small shovels so my kids can help shovel snow and small rakes so they can help rake leaves. I even let my son use a small hatchet to chop down beech saplings (it's pretty dull and I make sure he wears gloves). It's a great way spend time together whilst getting yard work done. Some of my favorite memories are building chicken coops, sheds and decks with my dad and having him teach me how to use different tools and how to build or fix different things. I imagine parents and kids have been doing this for as long as there have been people (maybe longer?).
