  • Interesting Stem Placement

Hi, all. I recently found this unremarkable point in central Connecticut. However, I find the placement of the stem on this piece kind of interesting and it vaguely (emphasis on vaguely) reminds me of those really nice corner tang knives from the southwest. Anyway, I don't have any other examples like it in my collection and I was wondering if anyone from the northeast has come across something similar. Let me know! Thanks!

Kind of brilliant if intended by the maker. Would give more extended use for the main working edge as well as the backing edged. Someone should be along to help you out.

      I thinks it’s a fantastic variant of a corner tang knife….
Wandering wherever I can, mostly in Eastern Arkansas, always looking down.
