  • blacksmithed tool of some kind?

    seems blacksmithed, old, not sure what it is. found it digging for arrowheads. any thoughts on it would be appreciated.

    Not too sure.. have found them on 19th cen sites. Always thought them to be some kind of tow hook, but might have actually went to a pulley maybe? Definitely old and hand forged.

      It looks like it could be the iron part of an old strike a light. Hit that with a piece of flint and sparks come off. Used to start fires. The iron part came in a lot of shapes.
