Ohio hunters.. lil(39) help please

Need some help. I'm from MI and am going to be in Ohio for a few days on business and thought I would take a couple extra days and do some hunting for points. The area I'm going to is Finley. I'm not asking for your secret spots but a general area.. rivers etc. And tell about laws in your state. Can I just start walking a creek or river bed and start looking?

You are able to hunt creeks and rivers here as long as its not on state property, you can also walk fields as long as you got permission to be there, if you are coming close to Richland or Crawford counties I have permission for lots of ground that you could walk with me, just pm me if your interested.
