I think I've found my first "honey hole". Same spot on favorite creek, maybe a 20 ft. stretch near the bank. Rains have been stirring it up every week. We've only found two complete (Rice) points there but also several scrapers and broken points. Today I found a back half of what I think was a good size knife, Jasper maybe? and a nice little scraper and a bunch of those big old rippled up percussion flakes. Diggin the flaking on that heartbreaker. Going back tomorrow for front half? Twas a beautiful day today.

Good finds, that chert does look dark. Maybe look for chips on edges to see if lighter material? Doubt Jasper makes it into missouri especially up here though cant find sources of it. Looks like it though, our whitish chert can really pick up stain in creeks. If actually that shade "inside" Possibly Carter Cave flint / Paoli? Great pics, Buddy looks Happy
