Overall not a bad day

I decided to go out creek walking yesterday to celebrate the holiday weekend. After a dozen or so turkey mite bites, a tick bite, and sweating in the mid 90's heat for 4 hours, I think I still came out on top! A few brokes, a small adze or other tool, and what might be a preform of some sort.

  Thanks CoachG! This is the first full adze I've found, so I was pretty stoked. Sonora flint is plentiful in my area, but it is also some of my favorite to find!

  Thanks Greg! Some days you have to work a little harder for the finds and Saturday was one of them. I'm still pretty itchy today, but I guess it could be worse though... I've been bitten by those buggers in much more unpleasant areas!  :laugh:
