How do I tell the difference? I found them in Clarksville, TN, if that helps.

I really do not think there is much difference. Here is a link to another thread that shows a point similar to what you found.

Maud points are found west of the Mississippi River. The point you found is probably a Madison. Nice artifacts!

Thanks everybody. I'm just going to call it a Madison point. Can't stop looking at it, I'm amazed that I can find something so awesome just laying in the sand. All thanks to my husband for turning me on to hunting artifacts.
