  • Florida Antler Knife Handles

    1-2-3-4 is from the Santa Fe river in north Florida, and no these microliths were not found inserted, they’re for demonstration only, Lol, however, My personal belief is that these are similar type engraving tools used with these handles...Pics.5-6-7-8 is obviously another antler handle...This one was made to receive a tool at each end and is from Tick Island on the St.Johns river, a site noted for its engraved artifacts....Thanks for lookin.

          Well if these posts do anything they will have you lookin for bone stuff next time you’re hunting a midden, “Warning:”, if you see a piece of bone sticking out of a midden DONCHA PULL ON IT,, Surgically remove it,, Lol, Kiddo.

            Short handles and micro blades imply more delicate sort of work. I wonder what they were used for?
