Unusual Ceramics From Florida

So this is pretty straight forward..these clay tube shaped pieces ( Pics.1234 and 567 ) were found at AstorPark, Lake County, Florida. They were molded on a piece of wood and fired, burning the wood away...They fall in the Weeden Island Red series, traces of ochre can still be seen...No they’re not cooking balls. No I don’t know how they were used. Yes they are ceremonial..Weeden Island Red is ceremonial ware, No I’ve never seen any others. That’s all I got folks. thanks for lookin.

Maybe a clay version of a banner stone? That's what it reminds me of.

Interesting, maybe a big necklace bead? Neat that it still has the red ochre on it.

Judging from some of the gaudy large looking beads from Panama and the Mexican peninsula that’s what I thought.
