Some friends and I found a site that produced many artifacts over several hunts. There were tiny fragments of pottery most everywhere but we located one spot that evidently was a midden with many larger fragments. It was approx. 10' X 10' and partially under water but we collected several of the larger more interesting pieces. We could tell at a glance that some fit together. No one wanted any of them so I took them home and tried to piece as many as I could back together. I wound up getting a few glued back together and framed 3 of the better ones.

I never get tired of seeing your Custom Made displays of your collection Terry. Thanks for sharing it with us!

Very impressive! What do you use as glue? Hal is pottery guru, and has restored some big ole Florida pieces; he uses mixture Elmers, ducco, maybe something else. Clearly, you are creative, and I too love your shadowbox displays!Last edited by Cecilia; 02-23-2023, 04:19 PM.Digging in GA, ‘bout a mile from the Savannah River
