Pot lid

I found this today and i think it was a pot lid, most likely made from bottom of pot

cool find, if a lid I wonder what it kept? Seed, corn, rice, berries?

I like it! Good find. Just curious, why a potlid and not only the bottom of a pot? You must see evidence that make you think that.

My feelings is that it was the bottom of a pot that broke and they smoothed it to the shape it is now and used for a pot covering
