  • More unfinished Axe

    I highlighted the pecking with chalk to reveal the peck marks, I hope this helps. Pict 1 is the un-pecked / un-polished bit of the Axe. Pict two is without chalk. The rest with chalk highlight. K

      Not polished nor is the pecking done on the bit. T bit would have been pecked down to an edge and then refined by polishing to complete the prosses.

    When finished it would have looked like this. and two for comparison. Notice the finished Axe even has the peck marks in the groove polished away K
