        IMHO, it is just a fortuitous shaped rock, and not an artifact. Wish it were otherwise, but I don't see that the rock was worked into that shape.

          Karen, I am sorry but I have to agree with CMD. This is a natural and unaltered by man.
          Look to the ground for it holds the past!

                Thank you all. I did throw that thing down after I initially picked it up (I have learned some things from your site here :-) ) but then I thought well I'll just ask just in case!  :unsure:
