Not sure...
Found this last week...it sure looks like a bird head to me...any suggestions?

It's actually a natural stone. Time and weathering results in all shapes and sizes where rocks are concerned. If you go by vague resemblances, you'll trip up every time. Stone effigies will show they have been fashioned by human hands, and they will leave no doubt that an image is indeed intended. Here, one has to wonder if an image is even intended, a child could draw a better bird's head, for instance. So why could not an adult native with artistic ability do as good a job as any other artisan/culture in history?
