I bought this off of an antique dealer who goes to arrowhead auctions. She may be small, but I just love the lithic.

You guys are not going to believe this. After posting this knife less than half an hour ago, I dropped it on a tile floor. I can't believe it. I am glad it is an even break though. Please feel sorry for me by liking this post. Click image for larger version

I liked your post, but feel terrible for you. I'm sure a clean break can be repaired good, though. I once found a nice quartzite triangle. Got back to my car, parked on nice clean, fresh blacktop. Just paved, clean as a whistle. Took the point out of my pocket to look at it one more time before getting in my car. Why, I ask myself, did I have to do that?! Dropped it, broke a corner off. On my hands and knees for one hour, and never found that bright corner piece on that blacktop. Killed me to have to drive off without the missing corner.

Here’s another one of my favorite knives. I picked it up in a collection that is suppose to be from Texas.

Here’s the coolest little knife I have. It came from a old North Carolina frame I bought a couple years ago. I have a precious few points along with this knife or scraper made from this really high quality black chert.
