Finally got the rain we needed here in the mid south. I went out this morning and found all this in about one hour. Both of the Lost Lakes are rhomboids. The big Uniface looks to be paleo, but hard for me to tell.

Can you post a better picture of this piece? Just curious if that is a flake running on the reverse side, or if it’s just partially uniface.1 PhotoHong Kong, but from Indiana/Florida

Collateral with median Ridge flaking on one side?

I have literally hundreds of pieces similar to this one. They are from the same site.Last edited by Whippoorwill; 06-08-2019, 11:17 PM.

These were found just inside the wood line back in 2013 by my friend Ben. He found several amazing Lost Lakes. One was 3” long.2 PhotosLast edited by Whippoorwill; 06-08-2019, 11:36 PM.

20% of fields littered in flint fragments along Whippoorwill and Red River. Quite possible a heavily populated area for thousands of years. Mass graves pop up periodically all over this region. One can only imagine what it looked 3,000 years ago. Vast stands of 200 year old hardwoods and pristine waterways everywhere.

After a deep plow back in 2013, I could drive down the tree line between the Whippoorwill and the plowed field with my car door open and pick up broken artifacts.
