  • Flipped out my new favorite find

Got a chance to fight through the corn today. Saw a little bit of hard stone stuck my stick in beside it and flipped out the smallest axe I've found. 2 3/4 inches long 1 3/4 inches tall and 1 1/2 inches thick. Greene county Ohio

That’s a good one wish we had them around here in Georgia.

That's awesome! It's fat too...maybe it was bigger at some point.

Super piece never seen one that small. Did see a 40+lb one at owensboro KY years back. That would be a pair. Nice find.

Sweet and from my area!!! I'm on the Greene/ Clark County border. It had to be hot and humid in the rows.

Loved the post name and had to take a look . Boy that is a super find . Very unusual the size . Here is something interesting to think about is the culture in the area .
I have the Swiftcreek known for that paddle stamp pottery . Well those stamps being organic have never been found but I find some very unique small tools I feel were used to create those paddle stamps and wood work .
