Was 50 today with teens coming so thought I'd hit a creek. It was eather walk 100 yds over pasture or 20 yds threw corn stubble so took the short way. Got to creek and spent an hour on leaf covered gravel bars and leaf flowing water came out with a broke tip of something . Walked out the corn stubble and at the end of the field this dove was just laying waiting to be picked up. Almost have to believe the tire missed it by inches. Great way to end the year. Can now replace a poor dove on my dove frame with a nice one. Not bad for 1-1/2 hrs. Good by 2019.

Going to replace the bottom left one. It's a point I bought in Owensboro KY about 85. The usual kid with a cigar box of finds selling. Had never bought a point but really like impact fractures and this one has a beauty. Just want the whole frame to be personal finds. That is a 50+ year of un-brokes.SE IAComment
