These artifacts are from Cedar Key Florida.They were found in 1973. The shark tooth was from a Megalodon and was highly modified to wear as a neck center piece. There’s no doubt in my mind that it was worn by the revered leader of the whole Cedar Keys area..I imagine whoever picked it up on the beach brought it to him.Can you imagine how splendid this looked hanging from his neck.Photo no.1. Thinning of the root area, notches and grinding of spurs on the enamel edge and other subtle modifications.

I gave this collection to my daughter , when she was very young she found her first arrowhead they were great times,we went to a park the other day and she still subconsciously still looks, she appreciates it ,and that makes me happy.

That is awesome! I've seen some modified teeth, but they picked a great one for that! Mounted to a handle, it would have made an impressive weapon or scepter looking thing for a ruler.Hong Kong, but from Indiana/Florida

That's one badazz artifact - I agree, the Big Kahuna was wearing it.
Ever thought about the way in which it was notched for hanging/hafted could be indicative of a point type they were using? A center hole could have sufficed, but it's notches do mirror a few Fla. point types - could give it a time period.
If the women don\'t find you handsome, they should at least find you handy.
