Your collection is magnificent Kim! Some outstanding finds for sure!
My buddy from Eldorado TX found this translucent Montell made from Edwards Plateau chert. I traded him one of my novaculite points for it. I like the bifurcated ones too but they are a rare find in my area.

Excellent examples Kim, definitely like them all but the big one really stands out.

I'm assuming these are a rare find in my neck of the woods. in 40 years of looking this is the only one I've found.

smbore, that's one beautiful St. Albans. B.C. 6000. All Bifurcates are very old pieces. Thanks for showing. Kim

Impressive collection Mattern. Bifurcated points are one of my favorite varieties. I guess it’s because they are easy for me to type. I have found only one during my hunts and it is beat up. It still holds pride of place in my small collection though. Thanks for sharing.

Really nice frame. I've never found a bifurcate.

Thanks everyone for your views and comments. I guess the population of the people who made these was pretty large. I probably have 15 to 20 sites where I find them. Got a site just across the hill from my house where I have found a few Penns Creer lobed eared Bifurcates. I'll look for them and post. Kim

Those are nice. One of my personal finds here found digging at 22 inches down in Connecticut. The flake knife was with it.
