  • Connecticut beach find today....

My beach hasn't been exactly producing anything on a grand level lately but I managed to find a Levanna this morning in the bottom of the ninth. Woodland period point made from an exotic lithic, probably one of the lesser quality cherts from SE NY State.

Chris, excellent in situ pic - love the beach photos!  Good eye, as well - could not spot it even though I knew it was in center of photo.  Not many triangle points in Oregon, that I am aware of, as I have never found one, and friend who has hunted 30 yearts, has mabe a couple, but more elongated.  Thanks!
