    An old one but good one, and still free to watch (but worth buying). Wonder if many still hunt the traditional territories since the fifty years ago that this film was made? A few points: one wife is able to flesh as she skins a beaver, they "weave" some amazing snowshoes, with so many listed in the film crew credits, I wonder where they lived, doubt they'd fit in that one room cabin with 16 others.

    Does anybody know if those curved paddle/shovels are handmade or bought?

      Hal,
      That deep fried bear fat must not have looked as good to you, as it did to me. And tough times indeed, but at least they could smoke like a deep ocean trench, back then. If that's a good thing.
