broken pestle?

[Bloody Fourth]

I found this piece at a new farm that I had not walked before, lots of fields and creek front to be explored!  It appears to be broken on both ends and is just a middle piece, but not too much was broken off the grinding end.  It is heavy, and thick, would have been huge.  Creek water was high, and fields were full of cover crops, so not much to look at, but did find some pottery, and a nice quartz grinding stone/abraider, and a possible hammerstone.  Cant wait to see what turns up after they plow it!  yeehaw
