    It wasn't a heartbreaker to me..I was just excited I found something.  Pretty neat to think I was the first human to touch something that another human made thousands of years before Christ.  Also I did purchase a book called Stone Age Spear and Arrow Points of the Mid and Eastern US.  Thanks for the comments.  I appreciate it

      The black point just doesnt strke me as a corner notched. The ears are mostly intact and they are shallow and high up on the tang. What are you seeing that helps you ID it as a Kirk Corner Notched?

        As others have said it is difficult to type from a partial base but I think the dark one would be part of the KIrk cluster. The white one is not Thebes or Dove IMO. The notching is not correct for either. I think it is probably a Middle Woodland point related to the Snyders.

            If that's noel justices book I think it is a wonderful point reference to have. I got recommended that book by fellow members on this site.
