  • Another Pipe?

    HI Guys. This is another part of the lot that I recently bought. It is a limestone pipe (I guess) that appears very old. What do you guys think? Native american even? Thanks for helping!

    Lava stone material.
    Context may give some an opportunity to help you on this particular object.
    Personally it looks like some of the stuff from the Central Meso America culture.
    Definitely not limestone.

      Yes, Jess is quite right. It's made from vesicular basalt... which would be an odd choice for an artefact that wasn't related to grinding tasks. I have no idea what it is, but I'm suspicious and thinking modern-made in Mexico.
