Found this near tugaloo lake in north west SC. Any help on what I found and what kind of value it may have wiuld be greatly appreciated.

From what I can tell it looks like a flake with the cortex still attached. The resemblance of an artifact is just coincidence. Value would be what someone is willing to pay for it. but my guess is that it is worthless.
Don't mean to bring the bad news and others may see it different.

Welcome from Central Illinois. I do not see an artifact here either. Reduction flake maybe but most likely just a piece of flint.

Also believe it is a core reduction flake but it would have come home with me also
