French Gunflint ?

I found this one today in SE KS. Wow!! What a piece of history. I was looking for points and figured this was a flat scraper of sorts. Buddy of mine said it was one of these old flints. Still trying to decipher mine from type 1-4. Any help would be awesome.

Really great flintlock find Gemcity. I found one over 20 years ago, and I didnt know what I found at the time. I then later gave it away to the guy who told me what it was. He helped me a few times in the past and has a much better knowledge of history, so I felt he deserved it.
