      Don't see a fossil in pic but looks to be a rock with a crystalline inclusion in it as it looks like it grew into a crystal shape. Pretty common to see in areas with lots of faulting and heating of rocks. I've seen old uplifted sea floor in mountains in east tn and some melting of granite and the silicates etc start to crystallize.

        That's a chunk of sedimentary rock (likely silicified sandstone) which has broken along its bedding/faulting planes. It's not possible to identify the fossil from those pictures.
