    That looks natural to me. Similar to others posted today but in my opinion your is naturally formed.
    I have noticed in the south a lot more adze type tools are made of chipped flints and chert rather than peckaed and ground material. Not a deal breaker just based on what I see posted from collectors in the mid western and south eastern states.

        Hey Janet, I agree with Hoss on this one. On hardstone items you want to look for evidence of pecking. On your item I can see Implement damage but no evidence of pecking.
