It is the right shape. Unfortunately it looks like a piece of limestone and unaltered. Unless you are hunting on ocean beaches flaking should be evident.

I agree with Martin, close but no cigar. Keep looking though and perseverance will eventually pay off.

I had a friend I took hunting once.....sever months later I went to his house and he had a frame full of what you got here. I felt bad to tell him out of the 20 pieces...he had one that was a broke point..the rest were rocks. It's a leaning curve we all go thru...keep looking...it gets better!

Your on the right track. I have been fooled many times over the years. Keep looking and you will find em. The pic you see on my avatar is my first find from many years ago. Keep searching...
