Your pictures are blurry it might be a side scraper or a expedient knife. You take the pictures with a camera or with your phone? Because most cameras have a macro setting. you can set a camera to macro and get very nice close ups using that function. Sometime it is just a matter of a person trying to put the camera too close to the item being photographed that will not produce better photos. . They just do not focus in that close.

I have been using my phone. I will start using my camera. I just get lazy getting it down. I agree I need to keep good photos. I am going back when I got a day to spend, I am getting over excited. I want to metal detect as well.

You do know that excitement does not go away. It is part of the addiction of this hobby.

Hah!!! Right on Hoss, there are no known cures for this addiction only treatments. I agree with Hoss as to the exp knife or side scraper. It was definitely hand struck and worked at some point. Get back to that spot. there be more there. Good searching!!!

Kind of looks like a little flake knife or scraper, but too blurry to say for sure, but has that look. Keep looking in that area. Looks good
