  • Levanna point? Fish spear? Or blade?

This looks like a quartz blade of some sort? I've never found anything like it. It's either some weird point or knife type tool? Im hoping someone could help shed light on this? Possibly a levanna period Artifact? Found today

I would agree with Hoss about it being a levanna. I have found several very similar in Southwest Virginia where I used to live.

maybe it once looked like this. I call levanna points found in the condition Van Gogh points because of the missing ear. Click image for larger version

Lol!! "The van goh point" that's too funny lol. It does look possibly broken now that you say it. Maybe even reworked a bit after the break?

When you're in a drought, even a broke will do.

Yeah, when triangles of any age are broke, not just Levannas, 99% of the time, they seem to be broke at one corner. So, yes, Hoss is right. It's a Levanna with one corner broke.
