  • First For Sure Find!! So Excited!

I have looked for a long time and never found anything. Today I had. My first for sure finds. I found these in Buford, Ga. North prt of Gwinnett County right before you enter Hall County. I got permission to walk a construction site where everything had been clear cut. After all the recent rain I figured was a good time to look. I am certain the the the first to the left is one but not so sure about the ones to the right of it. Guess I have turned into a skeptic when it comes to what’s for sure and what’s just a rock. Lol Any one care to comment with some knowledge.

The one on left is a point and all the quartz looks like Morrow Mountain material. the first quartz point on left is a Morrow Mountain point and the other pieces are worked morrow mountain material.

It would be good to put something beside them like a coin to know what size they are.

Looks like the point on left is true arrow point if it is it is not as old as quartz points they were made before bow and arrow

Congrats and welcome. I agree that they are all ancient artifacts. Nice finds.

That's a nice haul. The white quartz is a very tough quartz to work so just finding the not perfect ones is nice to see. The left one like everyone said is very nice. Get back out there soon.

Good work! I'm pretty new to this myself, and it's quite a rush to find one. Keep at it, love seeing those quartz ones , maybe just because I don't get any here lol.
