  • Way Out West

New Mexico finds, we studied and worked in Espanola and spent the weekends on the mesa. Here is a micaeous quartz blade, a typical Pueblo hoe and pottery, an agate hammerstone, and a diorite mining tool from the turquoise mine south of S. Fe. The other items are from Abiqui. Typical weekend finds. The turquoise mine is Aztec and Anazazi connected with Chaco Canyon. The agate is Padernal agate.

This is surface stuff. No need to dig out there it's still on top with the cactus.
