  • Nutting Stone???

Hey guys, could this be a nutting stone? It sure does look like one and it has divots on the side that perfectly fit my fingers.

Sorry... Just a plain ole rock imo.

Not plain old rock; it’s a great rock!

A great rock is one you put on your coffee-table (…but, my coffee-table is covered in rocks!😉)

Nobody knows if somebody didn’t crack a few hickory nuts on it or not but it was not formed by man for that purpose. The indentation was not pecked into the stone. Nice rock though

I don't know about dissin' the rock all together.
Anybody can see that may have been used for something if not even a few times.
while it doesn't exhibit the "nutting stone look" necessarily, it may have seen some action as one as well as a paint pot where elements are crushed.
        Who knows ?
I would have picked it up too.

The only thing that used it was the Raindrops that collected in the hole... imo
