  • Help ID'ing

This was found by the good Dr. CraigHog County on Feb. 2, 2024 along Crowley's Ridge in NE Arkansas. He asked what type I thought it would be and, quite frankly, I haven't the slightest clue. Upon closer examination, I got the impression that it wasn't a once-barbed, but now resharpened point that's simply missing it's barbs. No, it seems to be some type of stemmed, ambigous, roundish projectile point. It's also fairly thin and not beveled. I've found one that's nearly identical years ago, but the doctor's find is a much better example of whatever type it is... if it even IS a type, I should say.

That's all I've got. Anyone want to take a stab at it? Any help is very appreciated.

    Keep an eye out,
    GoodGravy

Better use of light in the photos would help, but as Reflector said probably a blank, I don’t really see any finishing flaking to make it a finished piece.
