    Not sure what this is. It has a blade.

    This looks like it could be worked along a couple of edges but is odd though. A bit on the chunky side. Is this a tool of some kind. It's about 2 1/2 inches long. and was in a muddy bank of a creek in North Texas.

    It looks to be an expedient tool of some sort.
    By definition, a tool or blade made quickly for a specific need and possibly cast away when not needed any further.
