  • Cool quartz

    Hi all. The weather changes so much from day to day. We have had a few windy days with lots of heavy rain and a new moon which brings above normally high tides. With the weather turning beautiful my wife and I took a walk at a local spot. I spotted this point. Much different than what I usually find. The edges are sharp but the base feels ground.

    Nice save Kaz. That looks really old. It might be a worn out Dalton. It looks like quartzite or a grainy quartz. Some may dismiss it as nothing but I have found some really thick quartz points that were heavy worn and re-worked until they were useless. K
