Unusual Mano

I know.. i know.. im getting a lil "chatty".. but the grass is comin soon so its Artifact season.. i promise ill stop when the fish start biting! Back in Norther NM, Colfax County. found several points, a couple hammerstones and this cool Mano. What I'm wondering is if anyone knows what material this is? Looks Quartz-ish to me.. but I really have no idea. I usually don't collect Mano's but I had to have this one, sooo it would be nice to know what it is and then I can kinda Google how "local" it is.

I kinda thought that question might be to wide open. I appreciate the help though. It's still cool lookin, and the category of "neat rock" will be specific enough for this tine!
