  • Arrowheads.com will not open

None of the computers in my office will open the main web page. Happened last week when I tried to use yahoo flicker to upload photos after having problems with photobucket. I had my IT guy to look into it today; here is his response :
"No network issue I can find. DNS settings correct. Your IP isn't blacklisted on the 90 most commonly used lists. Suspect arrowheads.com is blocking you for some reason. You want to contact or I can?"
Can anyone help, work day sure is long not getting to check in with you guys.

I tried opening it from another internet service down the street and couldnt get it either, at first. There was what looked like an advertisement stopping me from opening site, that was when i just put arrowheads.com in search box but when i put www.arrowheads.com it worked. Don't know if there are popups as i have all that blocked, but if so that might make it more difficult to open.

Well I'm no help either. Hoss is pretty much the go to guy for problems like this. Let's see if he sees this tomorrow and if not, I'll send him a message.

i can go any other website at home, but not this one
if i take my lap top and use it else where,or my smart phone, then i can access it
had both my sons check into it,and they said it is on our ISP side and not our home wi fi  :dunno:  :dunno:

What browser are you guys using? Google Chrome is preferred. I never have trouble. I never use bookmarks either I just type arrowheads.com into the address bar of chrome and boom I am on the Main page.

google chrome, and i just type in arrowheads.com like you do
both my sons are very computer savy, one was an IT specialist in the US NAVY
he tried a few things and is convinced its something on the side of the ISP, we have charter for our cable and internet at home
if i disconnect from our home modem and use my wi fi hot spot that i have for in the semi, then i dont have a problem(which i am on right now)
but when i use our home wi fi i cant connect to this site only

I have always used explorer but downloaded chrome to see if it would work. I am typing in arrowheads.com.   I have exhausted everything I know to do.  The error message says the website "took to long to respond"   Again, only on all my all 16 work computers.  My phone and home PC work fine.

I talked to the owner John and he said he has no trouble and uses IE go figure. Did you try to refresh the page? When you get the error message can you please take a screen shot and post it here. I will forward all of this again to the IT guy on our end.

I had lots of problems with the forum website last night, but it seems to be working OK now. For a period I could not access it with either of the two browsers I normally use;  I use Firefox and Explorer (Firefox mostly). I had problems with posting and for a while the site was really slow. Other websites were working OK at the same time this one was acting goofy.

Just as an aside, when I use Google Chrome on my iPad, I get that "page is not available" message virtually every other page I click on. If I then click "refresh", it loads the desired page. I have the latest update for Chrome, but it did no good. It may be that Chrome expects me to update to iOS 8, which I steadfastly refuse to do, because it always just makes things worse. Anyway, on an iPad, Chrome is becoming increasingly un usable. As much as I have preferred Chrome, I am increasingly realizing deleting Chrome from the iPad is the only viable solution. I've tried the Chrome help forums, but they are clueless on those help forums, or else you post the problem and nobody at all replies. This "page is not available" is a widespread problem using Chrome. All websites return that same message, not just ah.com.
