Hi! I'm visiting Sonora (Sutton county) a few hours northwest of San Antonio, Texas. -- Heard of some finds near Uvalde which is a bit south of where I'm going... anyone have any knowledge of the area and is willing to share some advice or tips?? Anything helps! Thanks : )

One of the most artifact rich areas of the America's. Getting permission thus time of year may be hard unless you are going deer hunting as well. Erosion has exposed most sites and surface hunting is king.
Any waterway or even now dry drainage will gave sites. Good luck. -
