Greetings from the Chattahoochee Valley
Chris here from Columbus, Georgia. I do most of my artifact lookin' in East Alabama, Russell and Barbour Counties. Only started in earnest last fall, after several non-finding trips, I stumbled across a real nice whole point -- and had the bug ever since. Mostly hunting plowed fields so far, but I have several creeks in mind to search during the summer. When I can figure out how to take and load some photos I will do so, I need some help with identifcation. I can usually look at the Overstreet Guide and come up with a few potential matches, but have yet to be able to look at a point and the guidebook and say -- yep, here it is. I have found a lot of broken points, some real heartbreakers. Definitely those seem to be the hardest ones to identify what they might have been.
