California hill is a historic spot on the Oregon trail. Deep ravines washed and weathered sticky clay with blue gramma right up to dryland farmed strips. Lots of fire rock and chips.
Wind was hard enough to put the brakes on windmills and from a distance could see some birthday balloons tumbling across a stubble field, have seen them before and have watch a billy antilope stomp at in fighting mode as they drag along the ground.
I saw this one snag an old barb wire fence line and didnt think much of till couple hours later leaving and went by on trail.
than I saw that was two big balloons tied abd taped up to an envelope. It was hand written note that if found please call with a name and number. I called and left a message and was calledback before hung up by his mom. It was a thing he learned in sunday school but this one was one he Prepaired and released himself
